What Guests Are Saying

  • "To be the first guest in this incredible newly opened, beautifully constructed and decorated accomodation was such a great experience. I came to the area to photograph wildlife for 3 days and to have a clean, comfortable place with and incredible view of the harbour to come back to each day felt like I was coming home. From comfortable clean beds, plenty of space to kick back and relax, with 2 bedrooms, full bathroom and full kitchen I honestly hate to leave, I'd rather just move it :) All of the amenities are here for a short or longterm stay and the grocery store, gas and even liquor store are literally at the top of the hill just seconds away. The area did not disappoint, the friendly people, epic landscape, an abundance of wildlife and rich cultrural heritage in the heart of the Great Northern Peninsula make this place truly special. The host Mike was professional and beyond kind ensuring the stay deserved every one of the 5 stars and more. I can't wait to come back!!!"

  • "The website doesn't even do this wonderful unit justice. The view off the back deck overlooking the harbor is absolutely stunning. It's clean, new, well-appointed and very comfortable. Very functional kitchen as well, which is often a weak point in vacation rentals. You can walk to the grocery store! It's a perfect place to stay for a visit to the area!"

  • "We stayed one night at Saltwater Steeple in Port Saunders and it was such a unique and beautiful place to experience. The building itself — a renovated church — has been transformed in a way that feels modern, minimalist, and incredibly relaxing while still respecting the character of the original space. The beds were very comfortable, the towels were wonderfully fluffy and the kitchen was fully equipped. Everything felt clean, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. The unit has a heat pump (so you’re comfortable whether you want it heated or need AC!). The views are lovely and the whole space has a calm, peaceful feel to it — the kind of place where you immediately relax once you arrive. We only stayed one night, but it’s definitely the kind of place you’d happily come back to for a longer stay. A really special spot on the Northern Peninsula."
