  • Best for guests wanting the highlights of the area a relaxed introduction to Port Saunders with time to experience one of the area's most well-known sites.

    Day 1: Arrive & Explore Port Saunders

    Check in and settle into Saltwater Steeple. Enjoy a walk along the oceanfront, where you'll see traditional fishing sheds, lobster traps, and the working harbour.

    Stop by the Marine Centre and spend your first evening unwinding by the sea.

    Day 2: Crow Head & Port au Choix

    Start with coffee on your private deck overlooking the ocean Bell Tower Suite guests can enjoy the view from the tower for a quiet morning. After breakfast, explore the Crow Head Walking Trail (approx. 1–2 hours) with its marshy cliffs, slate rock, and lava formations.

    In the afternoon, drive to Port au Choix National Historic Site, showcasing thousands of years of Indigenous history.

    Return for a relaxed evening by the ocean.

    Day 1: Settle In

    Arrive, unpack, and spend the evening exploring the Port Saunders waterfront. This night is all about easing into outport life and enjoying the coastal setting.

    Day 2: Crow Head, Coffee & Salmon

    Start with sunrise views and coffee by the ocean. After breakfast, hike the Crow Head Walking Trail, then stop at the Jumping Bean Coffee Truck for a bite.

    In the afternoon, visit the Salmon Interpretation Centre in Hawkes Bay walk underground and observe Atlantic salmon as they prepare to move upstream.

    Enjoy dinner locally or return to your suite for a quiet evening overlooking the water.

    Day 3: History & Coastal Views

    Morning at Port au Choix National Historic Site, then continue to Point Riche Lighthouse caribou are often seen grazing nearby (please admire from a safe distance).

    Stop at the French Oven for fresh bread, and enjoy lunch or dinner at the Anchor Café or Sea Echo Motel before your final evening at Saltwater Steeple.

  • Guests who cancel more than 30 days before their arrival date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made between 14 and 30 days before check-in are eligible for a 50% refund. Reservations cancelled less than 14 days before arrival are non-refundable.
